Oddly, even though x is the third to last  and one of the more neglected letters in the alphabet it happens to be one of the most frequently occurring letters in nature.I chose x for my letter because it was one of the most obvious choices to me. It is easily found in any natural setting, whether it be in roots, sticks, branches. leaves, dirt, pavement and so on. The particular x that photographed was chosen because though it isn't "organic" it has clean cut guides set by mans natural building instinct that can be found nearly everywhere.
